Everything was simply perfect. Meta is a quiet place with significantly less tourist than Sorrento itself which was a relief for us, and Sorrento is 10min walking+5 minutes by train so can be reached anytime. The town and the hotel itself is on a beatiful place, looks even better than on the pictures here. The rooms are clean and of a tasteful mediterranean style, cleaned everyday if needed, has everything a hotel room should have (italian rooms also tend to have water boiler). Beds are confy too. AC is included in the price and is more than enough. Breakfast was good and their bar and restaurant is perfect, all the dishes were very good and pizza is excelent. The roof bar has a private party almost every evening but in most cases you still can go there, it finishes at midnight and the music isn’t disturbing even with clised windows. Prizes are normal Sorrentin Peninsula prizes. They clean their beach and its water all day if needed. You have to pay for the spot there but it was half the prize of that we had to pay in Amalfi. But still the best is the staff. Everyone was super friendly, taking care of us the whole time and making our stay better only with their personality and urbanity.

Hotel has a beautiful commanding location near the bottom of cliffs with it's own small section of private beach with stunning terrace. On arrival our car was taken and parked for us off-site for a small daily charge and our bags were taken to our rooms for us by reception staff. The hotel has a spectacular terrace restaurant overlooking the sea and a snack bar facility next to the beach. The entire site looks very new and rooms and facilities have a high and modern spec. Rooms look new and spotless with stunning floor tiles. Room had a partial sea view and small balcony which allowed us to view a firework display over the sea from the nearby beach lidos and bars. Had lunch in the hotels beach side terrace bar which was excellent and reasonably priced. After we left the hotel at the end of our stay we noticed that we had forgotten our kindle tablet in the room, after contacting the hotel our receptionist Anna was able to organise it's safe return with couriers directly to our new location, outstanding customer care and service. Thanks again Anna!

Our room was spacious, very clean with comfortable beds. We had a balcony with a table and chairs where we could sit and look at the beautiful sunsets. The staff everywhere ( front desk, breakfast crew, beach bar, skybar ....) were very courteous and friendly. Delicious breakfast with a great variety. Special tanks to Anna organizing shuttle service from and to the train station and answering all our questions during our visit. We really appreciate it! Would gladly stay in Hotel Giosue' a mare again.

The views from the hotel were beautiful. The beach onsite was really nice, though a bit crowded. The staff was extremely helpful. The drove us to meet a tour group one day, and then drove us to the train station when we checked out. They were available by text to answer any questions we had and scheduled tours for us. The breakfast was ok, there were tons of delicious pastries and fresh fruit, but would have loved savory options besides the very runny eggs and uncooked bacon on the buffet.

I love how it’s kinda nestled into the cliff near beach. Coming from the center of City of Meta the ocean opened up to with such a beautiful view on your way through the tunnel. I loved it Also, the style in the room was so different I loved the modern style. It also had plenty of coffee, and I loved the sunset.
